NEW Indiana Rebates for 2010

Program: Energy Star Appliance Rebate Program

Duration: February 1, 2010 – Funding Runs Out

Rebate Amount: Up to $500 for documented purchase and installation of conventional HVAC system, up to $1,000 for geothermal heat pump

Funds: $6.1 million

Eligible: Indiana residents who own a single family home

Eligible Appliances: Energy Star rated Furnaces, Boilers, HVAC systems, Geothermal Heat Pumps purchased and installed AFTER February 1, 2010.

Evolution® System Plus 90i™ & Plus 95i™ Furnaces

Preferred™ Series 95™ Furnace

Additional Information: Rebate forms will be available online.  On or before February 1, 2010 the Office of Energy Development (OED) will launch a Web site for information and to download the forms.  The rebate forms must be faxed, emailed or mailed in with appropriate documentation.  Once an application is processed, a rebate check will be mailed.  Consumers should expect their rebate check, or a letter stating why their rebate claim was rejected within 3 weeks.  Prior to the launch of the Web site, consumers should be directed to Energy.IN.gov.  After the Web site is launched, Energy.IN.gov will have a direct link to the rebate Web site, so consumers can always start at our Web site and get to the rebate site.
